Family-woman and entrepreneur, Claire Blignaut found her calling when she found real estate. 15 years on, she has experienced every facet of the real estate industry and puts this experience into practice every day in her boutique property management agency.
We’re only just getting started
Even as a youngster in South Africa, Claire had an awareness of the real estate game. Helping her parents manage their investment properties sparked a passion for business that has stayed with her throughout her life. When she made the move to Cairns from her hometown of St Lucia, South Africa in 2002, she couldn’t have predicted where the twists and turns of life would take her.
In 2005 she obtained her real estate licence. From here, she knew she had found her professional calling, and has spent the last 15 years working with honesty and integrity in the industry she loves best. In 2008 She opened up her first property management business in Cairns with the support of her partner. By 2012, she had a baby son, James.
Although the business was highly successful, Claire felt the pull to be closer to family and so, in 2012, she sold up to a national real estate agency and made the move to Hervey Bay where her parents and brother reside. Once in Hervey Bay, Claire spent several years working in local agencies, further refining her skills in buyer selling, residential leasing, commercial leasing and property management.
In 2015, it was finally time to open her own agency. It turned out that 2016 would be Claire’s busiest year in business, also welcoming her second child, Savannah into the world. The challenges of juggling a new business and a new baby did not phase Claire, and both the business and the baby thrived. Prime Property Management has been widely recognised as an agency that conducts business honestly, efficiently and with an unsurpassed knowledge of the local area.
Now, completing Claire’s vision, comes Vision Property Management. An agency that hires the best staff for the job, that focuses on happy tenants and satisfied investors (of course, these are one and the same), and that understands that ‘going the extra mile’ is just the beginning.
